While on the Summer Fridays team, I led the event branding and design direction for the launch of ShadeDrops Mineral Milk Sunscreen SPF 30. To bring the product’s soft texture and sun-care positioning to life, we took over McConnell’s Ice Cream Shop in Pacific Palisades and transformed it into the Summer Fridays Scoop Shop—a playful, limited-time pop-up inspired by sun, skincare, and scoops.
I developed the full visual identity for the activation, creating a seamless blend of beauty and nostalgia. The branding extended across every touchpoint: custom signage, to-go menus, branded napkins, window vinyl, and in-store visuals—all designed to reflect the soft, creamy tones of the product and the warm, approachable energy of the Summer Fridays brand.
The experience offered SPF samples alongside exclusive McConnell’s ice cream flavors inspired by ShadeDrops—creating a moment that felt shareable, sensory, and perfectly on-brand.
